According to the report of The Baria – Vuntau Industrial Zones Authority (BIZA), in the first nine months of this year, BIZA licensed 32 projects, which invested to industry zones; include 15 FDI projects (capitalized at over USD 668 million).
Total of rented area by new investment projects is about 174.8 ha. In comparison with the target of 2007, the number of new projects is over 23%, but the total of investment capital only attains 47.48%.
The number of new projects increased 15 and the total of investment capital in comparison the same period last year.
At present, there are 157 investment projects effetely in all industrial zones Baria -Vungtau, with the total registered capital of 7.000 VND billion, among that 75 FDI projects. The rate of rented area is about 52.33 %.
