Vietsovpetro Joint Venture celebrated the topside load out ceremony for the Ca Ngu Vang Field project on 07 June at VSP port.
Vietsovpetro was the EPC contractor for the Topside of Ca Ngu Vang WHP under the contract between Hoan Vu JOC and Vietsovpetro Joint Venture.
The topside consists of 4 jackets with 56m water depth, over 90-ton weight; the topside block has a 780-ton topside primary structure and a 315-ton topside module.
Previously, its jacket had been loaded out and installed at Ca Ngu Vang field on 07 April 2008.
After the topside was sailed away to the sea and finished installation at Ca Ngu Vang Field, this will be the first oil rig of the field, it is officially started exploitation on 06 July 2008 as scheduled with the expected production of about 20,000 oil barrels/day.
